Richmond defeats William & Mary 31-20

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Seth Fisher rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns as Richmond defeated William & Mary 31-20 Saturday.

Holding a one-point lead late in the second quarter, Richmond (6-6, 4-4 Colonial Athletic Association) pulled ahead as Michael Strauss found Brian Brown for a 5-yard score. Jordi Brandon added a late field goal to put the Spiders up 24-13 at half.

Richmond opened the second half with an eight-play, 75-yard drive capped with a 2-yard rushing touchdown by Fisher.
