Analysis: In 2012, Heyward-Bey started 14 games and had 41 receptions for 606 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. Heyward-Bey has 140 receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdowns since being selected by Oakland with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft. Over the past four seasons, he led the Raiders in receptions and yards receiving, while finishing second in touchdowns behind Denarius Moore (12).

Indy, which has already signed eight players from other teams, has invited Heyward-Bey for a two-day visit that was supposed to begin Monday. The information was first posted on the team's website.
Analysis: Oakland took Heyward-Bey with the seventh overall pick in the draft in 2009 but never lived up to the hype. In four seasons, he has 140 career receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdown catches. He was released by the Raiders earlier this month.

The moves to get rid of Heyward-Bey and Huff leave just three of Oakland's former first-round picks on the roster with linebacker Rolando McClain also expected to be released this offseason.
Analysis: While Heyward-Bey has been mostly a disappointment in his career, the move to get rid of Huff comes as some surprise since he was the team's most consistent defensive back last season playing both cornerback and safety.
