Analysis: Coach Doug Marrone announced Monday that Kyle Orton will start Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Manuel was the Bills' first-round draft pick in 2013 and had started 14 games over the past two seasons. Manuel had a season-low quarterback rating of 59.4 and threw an interception that was returned for a momentum-changing touchdown Sunday during the Bills' 23-17 loss to Houston.

Analysis: Manuel has been mediocre through four games, connecting on 58 percent of his passes for 838 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. His season-high is 238 yards, and he hasn't tossed more than two scoring passes in any game. While Manuel may have potential, he's only worthy of backup status in fantasy leagues.

|Apr. 22 2:18 PM PT3:18 PM MT4:18 PM CT5:18 PM ET21:18 GMT5:18 AM 北京时间2:18 PM MST4:18 PM EST4:18 PM CT1:18 UAE (+1)17:18 ET20:18 - Raising his right leg for emphasis, Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel says both knees are fine, and his mind also feels refreshed. The next step is shedding the injuries and inconsistencies that limited the first-round draft pick's development during his rookie season last year.
Analysis: Manuel was blunt in assessing his up-and-down season, and acknowledged he has much room for improvement. He spoke Tuesday after joining his teammates for the start of the Bills' offseason voluntary conditioning program. Being healthy is a start. Manuel was sidelined three times last season because of injuries to both knees. He went 4-6 on a team that finished 6-10 and extended the NFL's longest active playoff drought to 14 seasons.
