Analysis: Lackey (3-3, 2.83 ERA) struck out nine and allowed five hits in his first win in four starts. He is 6-3 with a 1.76 ERA against the Dodgers and beat them in Game 3 of the NL division series last fall.

Analysis: The more starts Lackey can get at Busch Stadium, the better off the Cardinals will be. He's 4-1 with a 2.04 ERA in nine home starts since being traded to St. Louis without allowing more than three earned runs.

Analysis: Since joining the Cardinals, Lackey is 4-3 with a 4.03 ERA in 12 starts. At home, though, he's 3-0 with a 1.98 ERA in six starts.

Analysis: Lackey wasn't overly impressive after his trade to the Cardinals last season, going 3-3 with a 4.30 ERA in 10 starts, so it will be interesting to see what he can do in a full season with the Redbirds.
