Analysis: Johnson, though, remained winless in seven starts with Toronto, having received only 13 runs of support. He said the blister on the middle finger of his right hand, which developed during his June 9 start against Texas and twice delayed his next outing by a day, was not an issue.

Analysis: Johnson will now pitch the series finale Sunday against the Rangers. The right-hander pitched five innings against Texas at home on Sunday, when he had a blister on his right middle finger. R.A. Dickey will move up a day to start in Johnson's spot Saturday. The knuckleballer will still be pitching on normal rest.

Analysis: It was a strong outing for Johnson as he made his first start since April 21. He had been on the shelf with right triceps inflammation, but looked much better than the pitcher who had a 6.86 ERA in four starts this year before going on the disabled list.
