Analysis: Webster is scheduled for his major league debut Sunday night in the rescheduled game of Friday night's postponement because of the manhunt for a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. At Triple-A Pawtucket, Webster had a 0.90 ERA and no record with 12 strikeouts and three walks in 10 innings during two starts. He was part of the nine-player trade last August that sent Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford, Adrian Gonzalez and Nick Punto to the Los Angeles Dodgers. |
