Now that George is getting back to his old ways, the Indiana Pacers' two-time All-Star is ready to tackle a new challenge - playing power forward.
Analysis: On Saturday, two days after longtime teammates David West and Roy Hibbert found new homes, George says Indiana's new up-tempo style should be a perfect fit for his game and those of his teammates. The biggest question besides George's health is how much he'll play power forward. George says he's ''a ballplayer'' and will do whatever is asked.
Apr. 13 12:51 PM PT1:51 PM MT2:51 PM CT3:51 PM ET19:51 GMT3:51 12:51 PM MST2:51 PM EST23:51 UAE21:5115:51 ET2:51 PM CT18:51 - George says his broken right leg is feeling better and that his playing time could increase if the Pacers make the playoffs.
Analysis: The Pacers have won five straight and are 4-0 since George returned from his broken leg on April 5. He has been limited to about 15 minutes per game. Coach Frank Vogel says George's playing time would likely increase to about 20 minutes in the playoffs and might already be increasing if the Pacers weren't playing three times in a four-day stretch.

Analysis: George scored 13 points in 15 minutes and made two key 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter, helping Indiana rout Miami 112-89 on Sunday as the Pacers moved to within one game of the final playoff spot.
Mar. 28 2:47 PM PT3:47 PM MT4:47 PM CT5:47 PM ET21:47 GMT5:47 2:47 PM MST4:47 PM EST1:47 UAE (+1)22:4717:47 ET3:47 PM CT20:47 - George is still hopeful he can make a return to the Indiana Pacers lineup this season.
Analysis: The two-time All-Star forward said after practice on Saturday that he feels like he has passed all of the tests to play, but is still waiting for clearance from the team's medical staff before he makes his season debut. George hasn't played in a game since he suffered gruesome broken right leg in a USA Basketball scrimmage last summer.

Analysis: The Pacers say their two-time All-Star will not make his season debut Monday night against Houston -- and that they still have not established a timetable for his return. George has not played since his right leg gruesomely snapped after he ran into a basketball stanchion Aug. 1.
Mar. 4 1:55 PM PT2:55 PM MT3:55 PM CT4:55 PM ET21:55 GMT5:55 2:55 PM MST4:55 PM EST1:55 UAE (+1)22:5516:55 ET3:55 PM CT20:55 - George is not expected to start playing this weekend, but he is getting closer to playing shape.
Analysis: The two-time All-Star had been hoping to return either Saturday against Boston or Monday against Toronto. Coach Frank Vogel says George is not quite ready yet. But Vogel says the delay is not the result of any sort of setback. Indiana's best player has missed the entire season after his right leg snapped when he ran into a basketball stanchion Aug. 1.
Feb. 5 11:35 AM PT12:35 PM MT1:35 PM CT2:35 PM ET19:35 GMT3:35 12:35 PM MST2:35 PM EST23:35 UAE20:3514:35 ET1:35 PM CT17:35 - On Thursday, the Pacers' two-time All-Star finished his first full practice since his compound fracture of his right leg. That's three days sooner than expected. He is trying to return by Sunday, the date team doctors set in August.
Analysis: It's still unclear when George will play in games, and neither George nor coach Frank Vogel would give a timetable for that. George says his leg feels good and he hopes to return this season.
Nov. 21 1:02 PM PT2:02 PM MT3:02 PM CT4:02 PM ET21:02 GMT5:02 2:02 PM MST4:02 PM EST1:02 UAE (+1)22:0216:02 ET3:02 PM CT19:02 - Larry Bird hopes Paul George can return to the game this season after breaking his leg in a gruesome accident last summer - perhaps as soon as next month.
Analysis: The Pacers president of basketball operations told reporters Tuesday that if George is cleared by doctors and ready to play, he would like to see the two-time All-Star compete. George hasn't played since sustaining a compound fracture in his right leg on Aug. 1. Bird says he had been told a full recovery would take about seven months.
Sep. 25 9:48 AM PT10:48 AM MT11:48 AM CT12:48 PM ET16:48 GMT0:48 9:48 AM MST11:48 AM EST20:48 UAE18:4812:48 ET11:48 AM CT15:48 - Doctors have instructed George to start putting weight on his broken right leg and have cleared him to do upper body weightlifting. Coach Frank Vogel provided the update Thursday at the team's annual golf outing near Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Analysis: George sustained a compound fracture after crashing into a basketball stanchion during a U.S. national team scrimmage Aug. 1. The gruesome video showed the leg snapping in two and likely leaving the Pacers without their two-time All-Star for the entire season. Training camp opens Tuesday, and Vogel says he will try to keep George involved by charting action on the court and perhaps instructing teammates.
Aug. 2 9:25 PM PT10:25 PM MT11:25 PM CT12:25 AM ET4:25 GMT12:25 9:25 PM MST11:25 PM EST8:25 UAE06:250:25 ET11:25 PM CT3:25 - George has been cleared to play Sunday against Miami just eight months after he broke his right leg during a Team USA scrimmage in Las Vegas. He announced his return by tweeting a picture of his game shoes on Saturday morning, and the team then confirmed the news.
Analysis: When George was hurt in August, it seemed a foregone conclusion he would miss the entire 2014-15 season. But he returned to full practices Feb. 26 and set a mid-March goal to play in games. It's still unclear what kind of condition George is in and how long it might take him to return to his old form.
