Analysis: He saw added minutes because Jose Calderon sat in the second half with a knee contusion. It's unclear if Calderon will miss any time, but with Devin Harris likely returning Saturday, it's hard to trust substantial minutes are in Larkin's future.

Analysis: Larkin is available for Monday night's game against Philadelphia. He was the 18th pick in the first round and injured his right ankle July 12 in the final practice before the team flew to Las Vegas for the summer league.

Analysis: It's unclear, though, when he'll be able to play.
July 29 2:57 PM PT3:57 PM MT4:57 PM CT5:57 PM ET21:57 GMT5:57 2:57 PM MST4:57 PM EST1:57 UAE (+1)23:5717:57 ET4:57 PM CT20:57 - The Dallas Mavericks have signed Larkin, who is likely out until training camp in October with a broken right ankle. Larkin is slotted to make $1.28 million in the point guard's first season under the rookie salary scale.
Analysis: The Mavericks traded down twice in the draft and ended up with the rights to Larkin, the son of Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin. He was taken 18th by Atlanta. The 5-foot-11 Larkin broke his ankle while practicing for the summer league. He had surgery this month and should be sidelined about three months.

Analysis: The team says Drs. T.O. Souryal and Richard Levy performed the surgery at Texas Sports Medicine in Dallas on Tuesday. Recovery time is expected to be about three months. The former Miami point guard was the 18th pick in last month's draft. He was injured July 12 in the last practice before the team flew to Las Vegas for summer league games.

Analysis: The Miami point guard said Monday he hasn't quite figured out the sales pitch. He just knows this: He'd love to run the pick and roll with one of his favorite players growing up in Orlando as the son of Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin.
